Prelude to a Kansas Turkey Hunt
Thanks to Kelly for this picture of a few "soon to be deceased" toms (hopefully). This really gets me going. Just a few short weeks and we'll be there. Time to get the tent ready, Mark! We've got longbeards to slaughter!
This is very exciting to see. Tim you better start working out because you have to carry all of the gear plus the long beard I shoot. Did I mention I have a bad back, knees, ankles and liver.
Sorry, Mark. Knee is in really bad shape. I won't even be able to carry my own beers to my chair at turkey camp. As for your liver, that thing's been wrecked for years.
Here you will find the results from my various hunting and fishing trips. Friends and family will also tell their stories and post their pictures here.
I live in South Dakota with my wife and son. I have an awesome yellow lab, Mandy, who loves to hunt ducks, geese and pheasants. We have a lake cabin in SW Minnesota that we go to most weekends during the summer. Hopefully that will be a source of a lot of quality fishing stories this year. Most weekends we are joined there by family or friends.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and stories posted here by people who truly love to hunt-n-fish!
