Great duck hunting in Kansas—what a great day! 16 ducks- mallards and green wing teal, sausage and egg biscuits in the blind, perfect weather and no other hunters!

Those are rare days. I never got one of those this year. In fact, I only made it out once....very sad year for me. Congrats!! I'm so jealous.

Oh TKHUNT, you just always duck hunted with the wrong Gulker in Kansas.
We haven't been skunked in 3 years and routinely shoot this many ducks.
The other gulker is only good at acquiring turkey hunting areas, and bringing the cigs to everything!

I must admit what kelly says has some truth in that I did not fail to shoot a duck a single time last year and I went probably 10 times. This year I have only went once mostly becasue of work..in the afternoon..shot three ducks. That being said though I cant really remember a day here where i was skunked with Ryan either.

Its all about the scouting, you have to actually get out of your car and put out the cig.

Also...OVERHED COVER!

Those IA hunters recall duckless hunts!

Im not jealous. Hope you enjoyed your sausage biscuits b/c those ducks taste like ship. Sure is nice to put some more freezer burnt duck into storage. Must have been an ideal decoying day b/c I've heard Kelly call.
