The best and worst of hunting and fishing stories from TK, his family, and his buddies. We're not always successful, but we always have fun. Enjoy!

Went out last Sunday night to Brant Lake near Chester,SD and caught these two nice crappies, but with closer look I think they might be bluegills, what do you think? I haven't caught alot of panfish to really know..... 9 and 10 inches respectively!
A buddy of mine said they were bluegills, although not very blue, that is what they are....... kind of suprising as Brant is not known for their bluegills!
Wow! I luv bluegills! those are monsters! If you can catch about 50, you;'d have one heck of a fish fry. 2nd best eating fish to me, right behind walleye---they are related. get an ultralight pole, and some brown crickets- you'll slay them!
This is a great site that you have here. I have a sports blog myself and I would like to exchange links with you. Let me know if this is possible. Jason
Here you will find the results from my various hunting and fishing trips. Friends and family will also tell their stories and post their pictures here.
I live in South Dakota with my wife and son. I have an awesome yellow lab, Mandy, who loves to hunt ducks, geese and pheasants. We have a lake cabin in SW Minnesota that we go to most weekends during the summer. Hopefully that will be a source of a lot of quality fishing stories this year. Most weekends we are joined there by family or friends.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and stories posted here by people who truly love to hunt-n-fish!
